~ Musings ~
Updated Jan 2010

The New Year brings new energies and some changes. After two and a half years, WSHA cancelled my show, so I now have the time back to invest in other parts of life and music. This weekend I finalized the interview I did with Gretchen Parlato in December and posted it below. And I have actually finished the fabulous book from Alex Ross, The Rest Is Noise: Listening to the Twentieth Century, and am continuing now to research the composers and their repertoire. Arvo Pärt, Lou Harrison, and Conlon Nancarrow are a few from today's listening. SO much to learn about! Let me know your favorites...

Thanks to all who tuned in the Monday night show - I had a blast getting to share some great creative artists with you that you won't hear on the local dial now.... Drop me a line if you're interested in any playlists or listening ideas.

May 2010 bring you unexpected joys and surprises ~

Smiles,
